In the year of 2017 after some unexpected incidents, we decided to introduce a literary platform catering to our Muslim sisters where we aim to preach intellectual activities of practicing Muslim sisters. We planned on conveying the message that Muslim women are not coerced into wearing the Hijab, rather it’s a directive from Allah that they are observing willingly. As a result, the Facebook page, Roudromoyee was created. From the very beginning, we wanted to grab the attention of sisters who were Muslims but were not following the rules of Islam meticulously. We wanted to demonstrate how Muslim women can live a peaceful and esteemed life while conforming to the ways of Islam maintaining the outward modesty, which mainstream media usually doesn’t bring into focus.
Today, when we get countless messages from sisters interested in getting rid of haram income, interested in moving towards Islam, our hearts fill with gratitude unto the Owner of the seven skies. It was rather challenging to look after such an active platform after managing all other daily activities. But we are immensely blessed getting a bunch of such energetic volunteers who are working selflessly without any expectation of return.
By the grace of the Almighty, Roudromoyee School started its journey in 2020. We are well equipped in conducting lessons for female students with an assembly of capable and experienced female teachers. Our school has three wings – Quran and Islamic Studies, Skill Development, and Maternal & Child Health. In these wings, we provide courses on Quran, Tajweed, Arabic language, and Du’a related course. In addition, the students can have the fantastic opportunity of learning sewing, baking, IT, graphic design, spoken english and a lot more. We can’t but mention that, for the first time in Bangladesh, we have launched an online prenatal course teaching about the care of pregnant mothers and infants. Our aim is to properly educate the mothers about pregnancy and childbirth to make them feel confident throughout the period and enable them to take the right decision at the right moment. Also, we want to make people aware of the malpractice of unnecessary C-sections. To better serve this cause, Mother and Child Care BD has been introduced as a sister concern of Roudromoyee School. On this page, we particularly conduct courses and webinars on prenatal care, parenting, mother and child care. Female Forum Education started its journey in 2021. This platform is headed by an experienced panel of female tutors. Alhamdulillah, from 2022 we initiated “Online Doula Service”. From here, a mother can receive support services starting from her labor pain to post-birth care.
We felt utter gratitude towards Allah (SWT) when we found out that a sister retired herself from shirk after going through an article in our blog. It often happens that a person who is dreary with the loss of someone beloved, is admitted in our Quran course to gain peace of mind. It also brings us great satisfaction, when we find a sister from our prenatal course, going through normal delivery even though she had her first child through C-section. They are able to manage labor pain smartly as well. We have a lot of stories like these in our records with the mercy of Almighty Allah.
It feels as if Roudromoyee is the answer to the prayers of us and a lot of our sisters alike. Our only dream is that it might be the reason for many people to get attracted towards our beautiful deen. May this platform sow the seed of deen that shapes into a gigantic tree in the upcoming future. In Sha Allah!
